Béllingving

Description
It is a six-piece percussion instrument made from carving two separate thin walls or tongue on the top part of a bamboo tube while leaving the bottom part to serve as handle and resonator. The tongues are struck against the palm of the player to create a buzzing sound. A variation in pitch is made by opening and covering the thumbhole at the base of the instrument. Pitch is also adjusted using the Tukluy (rattan ring), which serves as a capo, found around the middle or bottom part of the instrument.
